Party chief Quang presented flowers and hoped that the university will adhere to its traditions, further develop its level and brand, while continuing to contribute to the development of the education and economic development in Danang.

“I was delighted to hear the report on your performance over the years,” said Secretary Nguyen Van Quang. “The city leadership and I always follow the development of the university closely and we’re especially happy that DTU’s recent results and achievements confirm its position and international recognition. These achievements may not be the final criteria but prove the quality of this private university in the current challenging environment. Most important are the efforts made by the university’s leadership, staff and lecturers to bring DTU to such prominent levels in the world rankings. Twenty-eight years is not really a long time for a university, but in the field of education, DTU has been one of the first private Vietnamese institutions to develop thus far. These achievements are not just about branding, but they are attributes that promote the extremely high spiritual and material values at the university, in the city and local education. I hope in the near future that DTU will continue to report even greater progress.”
