The “Summer Love Songs” live acoustic music event, organized by the JC Chance Press & Media Club in collaboration with the DTU T.I.M Media Club, aimed to bring students a glorious novel playground and to spread the image of DTU students as dynamic and creative. The music night furthermore marked the promising comeback of the JC Chance Press & Media Club after a long time of online activities due to the pandemic.

The music night in the evening of May 23rd attracted about five hundred people, a great many students from all of the university’s majors and faculties, and even students from other universities in the city.
The audience went through some relaxing moments with love songs, swaying to the music, immersed in the bustling atmosphere full of laughter. The music night took the listeners through different emotions with four parts: “Thrill”, “Love”, “Separation”, and “Making up”. Although many songs were left, the event had to be cut short during the “Separation” part due to heavy summer rain. The music night did not run its full course, but the gently flowing songs, sometimes high and sometimes low, from gazes to smiles, left unforgettable memories.

“This is an event the club has been thinking of organizing for a long time,” Press & Media Club Chairman Nguyen Hoang Vu explains. “We invested a huge lot of willpower to make it happen as close to perfectly as possible. Although the event couldn’t continue to the last performance, the enthusiastic reaction from the audience will be a big encouragement for the club to continue holding even bigger events in the future.”
