On January 5, the DTU graduation ceremony was held for Bachelors, Engineers, Architects, Pharmacy graduates and Associate Bachelors. Attendees included Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Provost; faculty Deans; center Directors; new graduates, parents and friends.
Associate Professor Minh presents degrees
Associate Professor Minh, DTU Vice-Provost, said: “You have all done your best over the past four years but must continue to broaden your minds with the latest, most advanced industry trends and find the way to adapt your current knowledge to the practical needs of the community. Today, you should all fully recognize the support of your parents, who allowed you to study at DTU. We hope to hear reports of your successes very soon.”
Mr. Nguyen Van Thai, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, read the names of the recipients, including 678 new Bachelor and Associate graduates and nine Certificates of Merit holders.
New graduates
Doan Thi Thu Ha, a student of Electrical Engineering, said: “Today I feel very emotional thinking about my past 4 years at DTU and my lecturers and friends. I faced a lot of challenges, enjoyed many sweet memories and am confident that I can apply my knowledge to my future career. My parents have always been here to help and encourage me to overcome every obstacle and I want to say a big thank-you to them and promise to take care of myself from now on and make them proud of me.”
