On 24th April, 2011, DTU participated in the 3rd Annual National Teachers’ Gala at Danang Teaching University.
The Gala took place from the 22nd to the 24th of April, and was attended by about 1,000 teachers from 17 Departments of Education & Training and 12 universities and colleges around Central Vietnam. There were 133 enthralling performances of various types, including solo, duet and choral singing and dance.

Mr. Tran Ai Nghia, Deputy Chairman of the Danang Musicians’ Association, praised the gala performances: “Most of the performances were so well-prepared giving us a clear and colorful representation of the life and culture of several different regions. We highly appreciate your enthusiasm and hard work in this memorable production”.
The DTU team won 3 medals in 5 performances, one gold, one silver and one bronze. DTU also received a certificate from MOET for its outstanding contribution in the gala.

These excellent results above were not only thanks to the efforts of the team members but also to the DTU Management Board. The gala was an opportunity for teachers and lecturers from colleges and universities in Central Vietnam to meet and get to know each other.
