On the evening of 26th February, 2011, the Sao Nam High School invited Assistant Professor Le Duc Toan, DTU Vice-Rector and the DTU Youth Union to perform at the finals of the Student Beauty Contest of 2011 at the high school.

One hundred high school students took part in the contest with several rousing musical performances. DTU also took part in the show, offering three pieces about Vietnamese youth’s love of life and country. At the event, DTU donated ten scholarships totaling five million VND to 12th grade students.
Sao Nam High School is one of the oldest schools in Quang Nam. In the university entrance examinations of 2009-2010, more than 70% of the students achieved high results. Two hundred of them chose to study at Duy Tan University.
