On 9th Jan. 2010, Duy Tan university organized the 60th anniversary of the Vietnamese Students’ Day and Award Ceremony to outstanding students in the academic year 2008-2009. The ceremony was attended by the leaders of Danang Youth Union, Danang Student Association, Board of Rectors, lecturers and students.
In the academic year 2008-2009, with the great effort of all lecturers, staff and students to make achievements in the honour of 15th founding celebration, Duy Tan university has gained lots of fruits in an all round way.
At the ceremony, the university granted the certificates of merit and rewards (worth 120 million VND) to 122 students and classes who got the remarkable results in learning activities. The college and junior college level has 3 excellent students, 80 good students and 19 fair ones. The professional and vocational level has 1 excellent and 19 good students. Besides, the Communist Youth Union also offered the rewards to 9 students and 2 classes with the excellent accomplishments in the youth activities and students’ movements.
This annual ceremony is held with a view to recognizing students’ achievements as well as inspiring, motivating them to study better in the future.
