On Dec 17th, 2009, Duy Tan University held an award ceremony for students graduating from the joint DTU/SPU programs.
Mr. Tali Wilford Hairston, senior assistant to SPU’s President, awarded certificates for three fields of study, including Leadership Management, Leading Change, and Accounting Information Systems to 40 Business Administration students, who successfully completed the course. These are the first students to participate in this international program with Seattle Pacific University.
Addressing at the ceremony, Mr. Tali Wilford Hairston said that “the cooperative program between DTU and PSU in training Business Administration and Accounting majors provides DTU the opportunity to broaden its field of studies."
SPU professors have been sent to DTU to teach the core subjects of the program. Students attending this course will be granted certificates by Seattle Pacific University which will be globally recognized. SPU also provides a “train-the-trainers” course for DTU lecturers teaching this program.
