On March 3, 2026, DTU Youth Union held a solemn ceremony to launch Youth Month 2026 in celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026). Youth Month 2026 was launched with the action slogan: “DTU Youth pioneers in the digital age, actively volunteering for the community.”

As part of the program, affiliated units signed memorandums of understanding with many specific targets, such as:

Digital transformation and technological creativity:

-    1,000 ideas and initiatives from union members and students,
-    1,000 students participating in volunteer activities,
-    Youth works benefiting the community,
-    Implementing activities to build school culture, digital culture, and the responsible use of AI.

Certificates of Merit awarded for completing the 2025 Winter Volunteer Campaign

The flag handover ceremony marked the start of Youth Month 2026, amidst loud applause, reflecting the determination of the entire DTU youth.

At the ceremony, the school’s Youth Union officially launched two meaningful competitions for 2026:

-    DTU Student Ambassador 2026

The competition “DTU Student Ambassador 2026” with the theme “Think Global, Act Smart in the AI Era” seeks exemplary student representatives with strong integration skills, technological thinking, and confident English proficiency.

The winner of the competition will represent DTU in international activities within the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) network.

-    AI Challenge 2026

The AI application competition for all students focuses on two key directions:

-    AI in the digital transformation of university environments,
-    AI for the community.

This competition is a playground for students to turn their creative ideas into practical products, contributing to the development of the university's digital ecosystem.

The Organizing Committee also reviewed the results of the 2025 Winter Volunteer Campaign and the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign, presenting impressive figures:

-    8 volunteer teams, 750 volunteers involved,
-    Total mobilized funding over 500 million VND,
-    1,966 gift sets delivered to disadvantaged individuals,
-    More than 750 people received free health check-ups and medicine,
-    7 youth projects with a total funding of 155 million VND.

These figures not only reflect the scale of the activities but also affirm the spirit of social responsibility, compassion, and the desire to contribute by DTU students.

At the end of the program, representatives from the Global Student Exchange Office introduced international cooperation programs and the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) network, offering numerous opportunities for exchange, learning, and development for students in the 2025-2026 academic year.
