To strengthen international collaboration, enhance research capabilities, promote academic exchange, and drive digital transformation, the DTU International School signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Korea Association for Information Systems (KAIS) on February 24, 2025.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Hong Tae Ho, KAIS President, along with association members of KAIS; Professor Dr. Lim Sang Taek, DTU Vice -Provost and Dean of the DTU International School; Dr. Nguyen Duc Man, Vice - Dean of DTU International School; as well as DTU faculty members and student.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Hong Tae Ho said: "The field of Information Systems is increasingly asserting its vital role in today’s digital era. In this context, the KAIS is committed to supporting countries around the world, including Vietnam, a rapidly growing economy that has captured the attention of many enterprises in the process of digital transformation and AI applications. Today's signing ceremony marks a significant milestone in the development of the Information Systems field in both Korea and Vietnam. I deeply appreciate the contributions of the faculty and staff of the DTU International School, and I hope that this MOU signing will open up many opportunities for collaboration, mutual development, and valuable benefits for both parties."

Professor Dr. Lim Sang Taek, DTU Vice-Provost and Dean of the DTU International School, shared: "The DTU International School has achieved many remarkable achievements in recent years and is honored to be recognized as one of the leading international training schools in central Vietnam, which is a clear testament to our continuous efforts. However, to continue growing and reaching further, we still have many important goals to achieve, one of which is to enhance our research capabilities to maintain our position as a leading international training institution in Vietnam. The DTU International School and the KAIS reached an agreement on the following commitments:
- Strengthening international research collaboration in the field of Information Systems between both parties.
- Promoting academic exchange and expert training, creating opportunities for faculty, students, and professionals to develop their research capabilities.
- Supporting faculty training programs to enhance the quality of teaching and research at DTU.
- Conducting joint research and organizing scientific conferences, contributing to the advancement of the Information Systems field in both Korea and Vietnam.
- Sharing research data and academic materials to provide access to high-quality scientific resources for both institutions.
- Advancing digital transformation and AI applications to support technological development and innovation.
The MOU signing ceremony between the DTU International School and KAIS marks a significant milestone in strengthening research cooperation between the two institutions.
