On February 22, DTU’s Youth Union held the Launch Ceremony for Youth Month 2025 to celebrate the 94th Anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025) and to implement the Youth Month agenda set by the Danang Youth Union. The ceremony took place in a solemn yet energetic atmosphere and was attended by many Youth Union members, students, and lecturers.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Secretary of DTU’s Youth Union, reflected on the founding and 94-year development of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. She emphasized its pioneering role in educating and nurturing young generations, contributing to the nation's development. She also officially launched Youth Month 2025 with various meaningful programs designed to inspire enthusiasm and volunteer spirit among students.
Following the launch, representatives from different parts of the DTU Youth Union signed commitment agreements, pledging to excel in their tasks during Youth Month. Each also outlined specific measures, customized to their situation, to effectively implement youth movement activities. Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice - President, handed over the flag to initiate the peak phase of Youth Month, demonstrating the university's support and expectations for student and Youth Union activities.
Outstanding individuals in volunteer activities receive Certificates of Merit
In 2024, the DTU Youth Union organized many meaningful volunteer activities that created tangible benefits for the community. In recognition of these contributions, the DTU Youth Union awarded Certificates of Merit and gifts to outstanding individuals and groups who excelled in volunteer campaigns. This recognition serves as a strong encouragement for Youth Union members to continue demonstrating responsibility and dedication in the youth movement.
A particularly significant moment of the ceremony was the induction of 200 outstanding students as new Youth Union members. Becoming a member of the Youth Union marks an important milestone in these students' personal growth and will motivate them to contribute actively and responsibly to the community.
The Launch Ceremony of Youth Month 2025 at DTU was not just an important event, it served as the motivation for Youth Union members and students to embrace creativity, take initiative, and engage in meaningful activities. With strong commitments and enthusiastic participation, this year’s Youth Month is expected to be a great success, making positive contributions to the movement of the Danang Youth Union and the nation’s youth.
