Automotive Engineering Technology Students Get ‘Korean-Standard’ Learning Opportunity

Improving training to give students of Automotive Engineering Technology a chance to do internships and find jobs at Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam, a ‘Korean-Standard’ learning and work environment.

 

On December 26, DTU held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam.

 

With the aim of training a diverse and highly qualified workforce and to provide its students with practical learning opportunities, DTU signed an agreement with Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam about the development of a high-quality workforce for the automotive industry and other advanced engineering fields.


According to the MoU, the partners will collaborate on various activities, such as allowing students to get hands-on experience with Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam, which will give students access to quality job positions. Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam will furthermore support DTU with infrastructure, laboratory equipment, and teaching materials for students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam General Director Mr Nguyen Anh Tu explained how the partnership is built on tight cooperation and a shared goal of developing a high-quality workforce for the automotive industry and other advanced engineering fields.

 

“By supporting DTU with infrastructure, laboratory equipment, and teaching materials, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam wishes to contribute to improving training at the university,” Mr Nguyen Anh Tu emphasized. “This will create a workforce meeting market demand. The collaboration will moreover expand to research, product development, and technological innovation. Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam will support DTU with training of lecturers and research students, and with applied collaborative research projects.”
