An Agreement with LPBank Securities Danang

On the afternoon of October 1, 2024, DTU signed a cooperation agreement with the Danang branch of LPBank Securities JSC. This marks an important milestone in the expansion of educational and career development opportunities for students of Finance & Banking, and it provides them with access to top recruiters in the financial sector.

Outstanding class-K30 freshmen from the Faculty of Finance received scholarships from LPBank

 

Under the agreement, LPBank Danang will facilitate participation in internships and practical training at the bank for DTU students of Finance & Banking.  The bank furthermore commits to sharing professional knowledge and providing feedback on the university’s curriculum to improve its teaching. Students will have the chance to attend workshops, seminars, and job fairs, which will give them access to the latest recruitment information. Outstanding students will be prioritized for LPBank scholarships to provide them with financial support and encourage their academic pursuits.

 

In return, DTU commits to supplying the bank with high-quality human resources. The university will facilitate participation in internships and practical training at the bank for both students and lecturers as part of the training program, ensuring students gain valuable real-world experience.

 

During the signing ceremony, Mr Vo Viet Tuan, CEO of LPBank for Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, awarded five scholarships worth two million VND each to outstanding class-K30 freshmen at the DTU Faculty of Finance.

 

This agreement marks a significant step forward: besides improving education, it provides DTU students with opportunities for comprehensive development, career guidance, and improved job prospects after graduation. The ceremony put the spotlights on the crucial role of collaboration between the university and businesses in preparing a high-quality workforce for the labor market.
