On June 18, DTU inaugurated the 2024 DTU Career Week at its campus located at 120 Hoang Minh Thao, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District. This annual event serves as a bridge connecting major domestic and international corporations and businesses with a large number of students, aiming to recruit potential human resources.

In his opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice-Provost, stated: “With the goal of establishing sustainable relationships between the university and businesses in improving training quality, aligning education with labor market demands, and creating job opportunities for students, DTU has partnered with the Labor Newspaper to hold the Job Fair since 2006. The event has attracted more than 1,000 businesses from and outside Da Nang, recruiting tens of thousands of employees and receiving job applications from students.
The Job Fair is also an excellent opportunity for businesses to promote their brands while recruiting quality human resources meeting their strategic development needs. Additionally, the Career Week is a ‘golden’ opportunity for students to confidently choose jobs that match their abilities and passions. This event also provides students with an overview of the labor market and highlights the job positions currently prioritized by businesses.”
DTU signs agreements with various Businesses, creating numerous internship and job opportunities for students
This year’s Career Week lasts for two days:
- June 18: for the Health Sciences, Economics, and ICT sectors.
- June 20: for the Tourism, Foreign Languages, Social Sciences, and Law sectors.
A large number of students participating in Job Week to find job opportunities matching their skills and interests.
The 2024 DTU Career Week has attracted over 130 businesses, introducing more than 5,500 job opportunities in Healthcare, Economics, IT, Tourism, Languages, Law, and others. Some notable companies participating in the event include HA Healthcare Group, CPC1 Hanoi, Vietnam Airlines Training Center, Saigontourist Da Nang - Hue, Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, and many other reputable enterprises.
In addition to direct recruitment activities, the 2024 DTU Career Week features several valuable activities, such as signing agreements with businesses, career counseling and orientation sessions, and workshops and skill-sharing programs highlighting the qualities businesses seek in candidates. Notable partners with whom DTU has signed agreements include Voco Ma Belle, Wafaifo Quang Nam, Wyndham Hoi An Royal Beachfront Resort, Mikazuki Da Nang, and Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai. These efforts not only open up job opportunities for students but also demonstrate the strong bond between the university and businesses in training and developing high-quality human resources.
Vo Thi Kieu Trang, a K27 Marketing Management student, said: " I'm a third-year student, so activities like the Career Week are really practical and meaningful for me. Through the event, I can learn about the demands and requirements of businesses to see if I meet them and identify what I need to improve. In addition, this is an opportunity for me to look for internship opportunities and listen to useful insights from businesses to accumulate more knowledge and experience."
