“After three successful events, our fourth Student Science Conference attracted a large number of students with numerous high-quality and life-enhancing research projects,” School of Engineering & Technology Provost Dr Ha Dac Binh said in his opening speech. “Compared to previous conferences, this fourth event of the School featured the new subsession of Applied Arts. This marks a new development for our School. The conference included 21 scientific reports in four subsessions this year, and 22 student research products were displayed. The organizers will review and evaluate them and select the three best reports for the DTU-level Student Science Conference. We hope that, after today’s conference, the students will present their reports smoothly and continue to develop even more creative research ideas.”

The student conference of the School of Engineering & Technology was divided into four subsessions: Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Construction & Architecture; Environment, Technology, & Food Technology; and Applied Arts. In each of the subsessions, remarkable results were presented, such as:

? Warning system for children left in cars,
? Manufacture of lifting robot,
? Fiber-optic communication model,
? Beam calculation in multi-story buildings by construction phase,
? Unique combination of game character art design and traditional materials,
? Role and representation of colors in design of 2D game environments,
