On January 26, DTU, the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park & Industrial Zones Authority and Sun Edu International Education Joint Stock Company signed an MoU for providing training in integrated circuit (IC) design.

Identified as one of the three pillars of socio-economic development of Da Nang by the Politburo’s Resolution No. 43, the Da Nang High-Tech Park is a driving force for the city's economic growth.
To achieve this goal, the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones has collaborated with Sun Edu Joint Stock Company and DTU on Hi-Tech Training to contribute to the development of quality human resources in the field of electronics and semiconductors for the city and the country as well.
The MoU signing marked the next chapter of collaboration between the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park & Industrial Zones Authority and Sun Edu International Education Joint Stock Company. Also, the event was a major step in promoting the training of human resources in semiconductors; contributing to high-quality human resources, one of the biggest obstacles to the development of the chip industry. It is also expected to help draw investment into major projects in the city.
According to the MoU, DTU, the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park & Industrial Zones Authority and Sun Edu International Education Joint Stock Company will collaborate to effectively conduct training programs, foster, develop, and expand high-quality human resources in the field of semiconductor and circuit design for Da Nang city, aiming to prepare high-quality human resources in semiconductor and circuit design to meet the demand for high-quality human resources from investors and enterprises operating in the field for Da Nang city in the near future.

The parties will coordinate to conduct intensive training courses for lecturers and management staff with expertise in semiconductor and circuit design; conduct training programs for engineering students to become high-quality human resources in semiconductor and circuit design.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of Science and Technology, said one of the biggest obstacles to the development of the chip industry in Viet Nam has been the quality of human resources. Therefore, the Ministry congratulates DTU, the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones and Sun Edu Joint Stock Company on the MoU signing.
The Ministry of Science and Technology also sent congratulations to Da Nang on attracting partners to implement human resource training activities in the field of semiconductor.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat said: “The Ministry of Science and Technology will continue to accompany Da Nang in developing the semiconductor industry through the implementation of national products as directed by the Prime Minister. This tripartite collaboration will bring benefits to the city and to the country in serving its growing IC industry as well. We also hope that the effective implementation of this human resource training activity will provide additional arguments to serve the perfection of the institutional framework for high-tech investment in general and semiconductor technology in particular.”
