DTU Lecturers Receive Course Completion Certificates in Advanced Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering

On July 28, DTU held an awards ceremony to present Course Completion Certificates to DTU PNU Electrical-Electronics and Mechatronics lecturers, attended by Professor Maged Mikhail, from Purdue Northwest University; Associate Professor Ha Dac Binh, Rector of the DTU School of Engineering and Technology; DTU lecturers, staff and students.

DTU Advanced PNU program lecturers
 
In 2017, DTU partnered with Purdue University, one of the leading American universities in Technological Engineering Education, to offer PNU Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics programs. The programs provide  high-quality interactive study courses, focusing on a variety of skills, especially the English language, in order to broaden career opportunities for DTU graduates internationally.
 
Over the years, DTU’s key lecturers in Electrical Engineering and in Mechatronics and students have been taught by professors from Purdue Northwest University, this year specializing in:
 
- Industrial robots, by Professor Dr. Maged Mikhail
- Process control equipment, by Professor Dr. Masoud Fathizadeh
- Object-oriented design, by Professor Dr. Jason Wyett

DTU PNU Electrical - Electronics and Mechatronics lecturers receive Course Completion Certificates
 
The training courses will provide the DTU lecturers with a broader understanding of the teaching methods used to improve their practical knowledge and skills, and raise the standard of education in the DTU School of Engineering and Technology in general. 
 
Nguyen Thanh Nam, from DTU Center for Electrical-Electronics, said: "Participating in the training course provided us with an in-depth knowledge and the methods used to evaluate and validate learning outcomes. Innovative research, a dedicated work ethic, especially the learner-centered teaching method, will allow the DTU lecturers and ourselves to gain more valuable experience in preparation for our research and future teaching careers."
