In June 2023, 1,472 jobs were offered to qualified majors in Hospitality, Foreign Languages and Humanities at the 2023 DTU Job Week. The annual event connects students with local companies, where they can meet prospective employers, find out about the labor market, recruitment requirements by sector, get advice on how to write a good resume, and meet successful DTU alumni.
HTi Provost Min speaks at the 2023 DTU Job Week
Invited guests included Ms. Pham Hoai Phuong, Little Hoi An Group Administration and HR Director; Ms. Bui Thi Bich Lien, HR Director at Four Points by Sheraton Danang; Mr. Tran Tuan Cuong, Tien Thu Honda automobile Dealership Director; Ms. Hoang Thi Chan Phuc, Risemount Resort General Manager; Mr. Dang Nhu Da Thanh, Vietravel Danang Deputy Director; and executives and employees of one hundred local businesses. DTU was represented by Hospitality & Tourism Institute (HTi) Provost Dr Mo Chul Min; School of Foreign Languages & Social Humanities Vice-Provost Dr Hoang Thi Huong; Business Cooperation Center Director Dr. Nguyen Duc Hien; and thousands of students from DTU and elsewhere.

Today’s event will boost student confidence and expectations in preparation for their future careers and also serve as the ideal way for companies to identify the most talented job candidates.”
DTU and local businesses cutting the Career Week opening ribbon
An education tailored to the exact needs of current business is vital today and participants at Career Week benefit by broadening their professional knowledge and skills before entering the actual workplace. At the event this year, DTU signed a cooperation agreement with the Dai Phat Hoi An Company to work together in the development of the following:
- Selecting prospective employees based on academic results and support them
- Prioritizing recruiting personnel for part-time or long-term work assignments as and when required
- Prioritizing students for regular or periodic internships according to company plans
- Organizing topical conferences
- Providing assessments of DTU programs and curricula
DTU signs an agreement with the Dai Phat Hoi An Company
During this year’s Career Week, a seminar was held entitled: “Speaking with the DTU Business Club.” Presenters included DTU alumni currently employed at high levels in local companies, such as the Vuong Na Duong Trading & Services Company Director, Dang Minh Duong; Vietteam Group Chairman, Hoang Quoc Phong; Rong Tien Sa Communication Company General Director, Ms. Tran Le Chi; and the Thuan Binh Interior Design & Construction Director, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Binh. DTU students met alumni and learned about their experiences working in a wide variety of business environments.
