On June 21, qualified DTU Economics-Health Science and International Training students attended the annual DTU Career Week, where they met with DTU alumni, other prospective employers from local companies, learned about the local labor market and recruitment requirements by sector, and received advice on how to prepare a resume.

Guests included Mr. Truong Anh Tu, Branch Director of CPC1 in Hanoi; Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Deputy-Director of the National Citizen Commercial Bank, Danang Branch; Mr. Mai Minh Vuong, Chairman of the Board and CEO of NPV Logistics; executives and employees of seventy local businesses. DTU was represented by Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice-Provost; Associate Professor Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Rector of the DTU School of Economics; Dr. Hoang Ha, Vice-Rector of the DTU School of Medicine & Pharmacy; Business Cooperation Center Director Dr. Nguyen Duc Hien; and hundreds of students from DTU and elsewhere.
Associate Professor Phan Thanh Hai said: “The objective of Career Week is to demonstrate our obligation to our students and community to improve the standard of education and graduate highly qualified candidates into the workforce. Our motto is: "All for Student Rights and Future Careers", and, on behalf of the organizers, I would like to announce the opening of the 2023 DTU Career Week. Good luck to you all!”
This year, 216 national and foreign companies attended, offering 5,000 job opportunities. The 3-day event focused on recruiting from key disciplines including IT; Engineering & Technology; Economics; Health Sciences; International Training; Tourism; Foreign Languages; and Social Humanities.

This year, DTU signed an agreement with the National Citizen Commercial Bank, NPV Logistics and the Phuoc Thien 3T Company to work jointly to:
- Prioritize personnel recruitment of part-time or long-term assignments as needed
- Arrange regular or periodic internships, according to company plans
- Participate in career orientation counseling and professional training
- Grant scholarships and sponsor major events

By the second day of Career Week, attendees were able to identify their ideal workplace and gained experience in planning their studies, to guarantee excellent future job prospects at leading companies. Several of the best final year students were interviewed by local businesses directly.
