“Passage to ASEAN 4.0” is offered to P2A university members to exchange academic programs internationally, improve their English language skills and learn more about the cultures of countries in the region. From June 7 to 11, members went on a field trip to Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) in Thailand.
DTU Students visit the CMRU Flight Simulator
During their visit, the DTU team participated in several events, including:
- The opening ceremony
- Viewing the CMRU Flight Simulator
- Muay Thai, paper-cutting and Thai paper lantern classes
- Visiting the Melia Chiang Mai Hotel
- Visiting the Doi Suthep Temple, the Maerim Center, an organic garden, and a Thai cooking class
- Shopping in the Chiang Mai Old Town and at the Watrorot market
Ms. Rotchanakorn Baengthit, Assistant-Dean of the Management Sciences Faculty said: “This cultural exchange program is the foundation for long-term programs, including student exchanges, internships and employment. We anticipate that there will be further field trips for ASEAN students to motivate students to improve their foreign language skills and work harder. Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and DTU will continue to strengthen our relationship and hold more collaborative programs soon.”
