On February 26th, the 2023 DTU Student Design Exhibition was opened at the Danang Museum of Fine Arts, featuring works that have already won prizes at international graphic design competitions. The event will run until March 3rd.
The exhibition featured eleven logos created by DTU Graphic Design students, from the Faculty of Architecture & Applied Arts; Game & Multimedia Design, from the Faculty of Information Technology; and Multimedia Communications and Literature & Journalism, from the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities. In addition, 125 other prize-winning projects were on display, including logos, posters and brands.

Designer Nguyen Tri Phuong Dong, a visiting DTU lecturer from America, said: “As their mentor, I have found that Graphic Design students are passionate, responsible, creative and knowledgeable about the latest trends in their field of study. I am delighted to work with such enthusiastic and dynamic young students. Their many achievements so far are a credit to them and also to their lecturers."

Since 2020, DTU students have successfully competed in major international contests, in competition with professional designers, other universities, and freelance designers from the US, the UK and elsewhere. They have won:
- Nine Graphic or Graphic New Talent Awards in the US
- Two American Graphic Design Awards (AGDA, US)
- Six International Design Awards (IDA, US)
- Three International Creative Competition (LICC, UK) prizes in London
The creative and unique designs have been widely admired and demonstrate their unique skills and the quality of education at DTU. The winners include:

- Nguyen Le Khanh Chau, with 2
- Nguyen Hoang Cúc, with 2
- Nguyen Quoc Khanh, with 2
- Huynh Thanh Mai, with 2
- Truong Anh Thu, with 2
- Le Huyen Trang, with 2 prizes
- Nguyen Ngoc Minh Trang, with 2
- Nguyen Thi Thuy Tram, with 2
- Tran Le Huong Giang, with 1
- Dang Hoang Thao Ngan, with 1
Nguyen Khanh Hien won a 2021 'American Graphic Design Awards Trophyde, with a distinctive logo entitled ‘Obai Eau de Parfum.’ She said: “I was really touched and happy to see my logo displayed in the museum because it was my first time to attend as author, not as a visitor. Fortunately, my work attracted many viewers and boosted my self-confidence, for which I am very grateful.”
Many students from local universities and colleges attend the exhibition
Last year, Nguyen Thi Thuy Tram, another DTU Graphic Design student, was awarded a trophy and a Certificate of Merit for her distinctive logo entitled ‘Anna’s Underwear Boutique.’
