On October 20, the DTU Trade Union and the DTU Association of Intellectual Women held an evening festival celebrating the “Beauty of Work Clothes at DTU”, with musical performances commemorating DTU’s 28th anniversary. Dressed in their traditional “Ao Dai,” female lecturers and staff were excited to perform.
Ms. Ha Thi Kim Phuong, Vice-President of the Danang Association for Intellectual Women; Distinguished Teacher and Hero of Labor Le Cong Co, Chairman of the DTU Boards of Trustees; the DTU Trade Union Standing Committee; the DTU Association of Intellectual Women Standing Committee; female lecturers and staff attended, and brightly illuminated, amazing catwalk performances captured audience attention.
The DTU College of Medicine & Pharmacy won first prize and second and third prizes were awarded to the DTU International School and the DTU School of Foreign Languages & Social Humanities, respectively. Two consolation prizes went to the DTU Personnel Department and the DTU Learning Resource Center.
The festival enabled the women staff to meet each other, chat and have discussions, while restful music was played to help them relax after work.
