An Agreement with VNISA

On July 21st, DTU signed an agreement with the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) to implement several in-depth training programs in Information Security. Chairman of VNISA Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung; DTU Vice-Provost Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu; and DTU lecturers and staff attended.

Mr Nguyen Thanh Hung, Chairman of VNISA said: “Previously, VNISA worked with DTU to organize contests in information security and for other collaborative activities, and VNISA found that DTU highly cares about investing in the development of human resources in IT in general and in information security in particular. In these times of the Revolution 4.0, Information Security is a key issue and a field highly concerning society. The agreement will lead to a lot of new opportunities for collaboration, to jointly boost the training of high-quality human resources in information security.”

DTU and the Vietnam Information Security Association signed a collaboration agreement to implement several Information Security activities. The main content is: to coordinate and support the organization of Information Security competitions for students; cooperate in in-depth training in Information Security; coordinate for campaigns to raise awareness about Information Security in Danang and provinces in Central Vietnam; and coordinate to implement other professional activities on Information Security. 
 
In the near future, VNISA will sponsor annual Information Security competitions for university and high school students held by DTU. DTU will actively respond to the annual ASEAN Information Security Student Competition hosted by VNISA.
 
At the same time, VNISA and DTU will jointly hold short-term training courses on Information Security for agencies, organizations and businesses in Da Nang and the central provinces.
