DTU and the Shanghai ranking
Together with the QS and Shanghai (ARWU) ranking systems, THE is one of the most widely respected listings worldwide.
“DTU appears in 2 of the 3 most prestigious university rankings in the world, in the 351-400 range in Asia by QS and 601-700 by ARWU, so we plan to be listed by THE in the near future.”, said Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President.
ARWU uses six objective measurement criteria to rank universities. These are the number of alumni and staff winning Nobel Prizes and Fields Medals, the number of highly cited researchers selected by Clarivate Analytics, the number of articles published in journals of Nature and Science, the number of articles indexed in Science Citation Index-Expanded and Social Sciences Citation Index, and per capita performance.
