Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Head of Acecook Production, gave an overview of the company since its founding in Vietnam in 1993 and now a leader in the Vietnamese foodstuffs industry, and all the 12 steps in the manufacturing process.

The students then toured a gallery specially designed for visitors. Production takes place in isolated areas under the strict supervision of video cameras, guaranteeing food safety and hygiene and the confidentiality of the recipes. They were also able to sample Hao cup noodles and address their concerns to the company, with questions such as “Do noodles in plastic cups affect our health? Do instant noodles create body heat and pimples? Which majors should we specialize in to work at Acecook?.”

I would like to thank Acecook for their warm welcome and request DTU to arrange more field trips like this one.”
