On January 19, the first Hult Prize competition to be held at DTU was kicked-off with presentations on ten specially selected Start-Up projects.
The competition is sponsored by the United Nations and the Bill Clinton Foundation and enables emerging young entrepreneurs from 1,200 universities around the world to present their Start-Up ideas. Their objective is to try to solve some of the most pressing international issues and they begin by competing to reach their regional finals.

The leading six teams will advance to the Hult Prize Global Finals at UN headquarters in New York on September 15, where the winners can turn their dreams into reality by seeding their projects with awards of $1 million each.
