On November 15th, DTU held the 2017-2018 Year-End Meeting of Union Work and Student Movement. Attendees included Mr. Le Cong Hung, member of the Standing Committee of the Danang Union and Head of the Board of the Danang Schools Children’s Union, representatives of the DTU Board of Provosts, Deans, Directors and many union members.
DTU received the emulation flag for its significant achievements
According to the report on the DTU Youth Union’s activities in the 2017-2018 academic year, currently 14,000 union members are managed by sixteen faculty unions. Last academic year, the DTU Youth Union held political and ideological educational meetings and organized some campaigns such as Defense of the Fatherland, Youth Volunteering, Youth Creation, Science Research and Blood Donation.
Thanks to the impressive achievements in the 2017-2018 academic year, DTU received the Danang Union Emulation Flag and high appraisal of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union, the Standing Committee of the Danang Youth Union and many agencies in Danang.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, the university union will continue to implement the resolutions of the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and to enhance science research and start-ups. They will also continue to implement campaigns such as Five-Virtue Student, Three-Task Student, Saving electricity and maintaining facilities and Saying No to cheating in exams and obsession with achievements in education.
The DTU Youth Union awarded certificates and gifts to individuals and to the faculty and class Youth Unions for their impressive achievements. DTU is on a roll, so hopefully it will continue to succeed in the 2018-2019 academic year.
