Over the years, Vietnam has employed the Balance Scorecard (BSC) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to plan activities effectively and set development goals. Using these tools, a business strategy is established with management goals and specific action plans by department, group and individual, to help companies eliminate their deficiencies.
Associate Professor Minh said: “Businesses should constantly improve the quality of their products and services, and, at the same time, focus on management policy. Although BSC and KPI are widely-used tools for business management worldwide, they are still new to Vietnam, where their use is still limited for various reasons.”
