On January 7th, DTU celebrated the 68th anniversary of the Traditional Vietnamese Students Day by awarding full and partial scholarships to leading students in 2016 - 2017.

Distinguished Teacher, Hero of Labor, Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, said: “The Industrial 4.0 and Startup revolutions are impacting nations globally, so, in order to keep up, we should absorb the best the world has to offer, learn from the experiences of those who went before, and how to create and develop new and personal benefits. Like all young people in our country, DTU students are free to determine what their true interests really are and grasp the latest trends in preparing themselves for successful international integration.”

Over time, the Vietnam Students' Association (VSA) has become a bridge and companion to generations of other students nationwide. VSA has promoted its role in launching ways to help students in their education, day-to-day lives and business start-up activities, following in the tradition of previous generations.
The Vietnam Students' Association also presented students with the “Five Best Performance” awards, 9 at the city level and 56 at the school level, in recognition of their brilliant academic and research achievements and contributions to the Student Movement.
Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, DTU Vice-President, awards scholarships to top performers
DTU awarded 15 full scholarships covering 100% of tuition fees to 43 students in the CMU, PSU, CSU and PNU international programs, and another 26 partial scholarships to leading students in the international programs (Boeing, Penn State and Cal Poly); in addition, 16 high performers in 2016 - 2017 were awarded Certificates of Merit and cash prizes, totaling 11 billion vnd in all.
DICentral Vietnam also granted 10 scholarships worth 57 million vnd to other outstanding students from low-income families.
The attractive musical displays, meticulously prepared and with meaningful messages all through the ceremony, left the attendees with an impression of beauty, encouraging the DTU students to step up their studies, research, and practice.
