On September 5th, DTU representatives visited high schools in Danang and Quang Nam province to commemorate the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year and awarded full scholarships worth 454 million vnd each to outstanding students enrolling in DTU.
Dr. Nguyen Tan Thang awards full scholarships to Le Thi Thu Ngan and Pham Minh Tuan
Nine graduates of the Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted in Hoi An received full or partial scholarships for the Troy University accredited degree program. Dr. Nguyen Tan Thang, DTU Vice-Provost, awarded full scholarships to Le Thi Thu Ngan, who scored 28.5, and to Pham Minh Tuan who scored 27.5 in the 2017 National High School Exam. Both of them enrolled in the new Hospitality and Hotel Management program.
Le Thi Thu Ngan said happily: “I was surprised when I had the highest score and won a full scholarship, which means I can now dedicate myself to my studies and fulfil my aspirations at DTU. I will do my best to achieve good results and to repay my family and the university for their generosity and kindness.”

Troy University signed a partnership with DTU to offer Bachelor degree programs in Hospitality and Hotel Management and IT in 2017 and students will be eligible for three full scholarships to study in these programs.
At the Luong The Vinh High School, Dr. Ha Nhu Hang, Vice-Dean of the DTU International School, presented a full scholarship to Dang Hong Son, who scored 24.45 and enrolled in the new Troy University IT program. At the Hoang Dieu High School, Mr. Nguyen Duc Man, Acting-Dean of the DTU International School, awarded a full scholarship to Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, who scored 25 and enrolled in their Hotel Management program.
