On April 25th, DTU and the Cham Museum hosted the third Go-See Danang photographic exhibition, with the theme “Danang Meets the World”.
396 photos were submitted and 80 selected for exhibition. The photos were rich in color, depicting sunrise over the sea, fishing villages, fishermen at work and other beautiful views of Danang, symbolizing the rhythm of the citizens’ daily lives.
The contestants were divided into two groups, professional photographers and students. First prizes in the “Face, Fun and Food” student topic went to Le Dinh Tan’s “Blue Leopard”, to Nguyen Thi Hoang Yen’s “Granddaughter” and to Bui Thi Lan’s “Conical Hat and Peasant”.
Danang has held several activities to promote tourism in the city, including the International Marathon, the International Fireworks Competition, the Round-the-World Clipper Yacht Race, the International Tourism Fair of Beach Resorts and the Asian Beach Games. DTU also organizes events and contests to introduce visitors to the beauty of the city and the Han River, including the Computerized Fireworks competition, the Sand Sculpture contest at the beach and the Go-See Danang photographic exhibition.
