On March 9th, a seminar was held at DTU to discuss the Go-Green-In-The-City Contest, sponsored by Schneider Electric.

2017 is the seventh consecutive year of the contest. In 2016, it attracted 15,000 contestants from 170 countries.
The finals will take place on June 9thand the national champions will go on to participate in the East Asian contest in July. The World contest will be held in Paris from October 9th to 13th. The national winners will be awarded:
• A firstprize of 20 million dong and an internshipat Schneider Electric Vietnam
• A second prize of 10 million dong and an internship
• A third prize of 5 million dong and an internship
In 2016, Nguyen Cong Duc and Huynh Minh Trang from DTUwontheNational Go-Green-In-The-City Championship and were runners-up in the 2016 East Asia contest, with their project “A solution for Eco-friendly shrimp farming with zero water replacement”.
