On December 19th, DTU and Renesas Design Vietnam (RVC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Renesas Electronics Corporation in Japan, held a Career and Recruitment seminar. Ms. Ho Thi Ngoc Ha, the Human Resources Director, Dr. Dang Viet Hung, Dean of the DTU IT Faculty and DTU IT students attended.

Dr. Dang Viet Hung said: “The seminar is very informative and useful for DTU students, explaining how Renesas selects potential employees, giving students a better understanding about their future careers and the job requirements.”

Ms. Ha briefly introduced the Renesas Design Vietnam. RVC was founded in October 2004 to develop sophisticated multifunction System-on-Chips (SoCs), with a high level of design capability. RVS provides leading-edge hardware and software design services for a wide range of semiconductors and applications.
RVC has been awarded Vietnamese government Excellence Awards to acknowledge the success of its activities and its outstanding contribution to the development of the economy and community from 2005 to 2010. RVC has over 550 engineers and is collaborating with universities nationwide to boost that number to 1,000. RVC spent two days at DTU looking for well-qualified IT engineers. With its recent improved quality of education, DTU students will hopefully be able to find jobs at RVC.
