The “Folk Culture Festival, a university admissions and overseas study informational program, was held on March 19th at the Ton That Tung High School. The event welcomed students, universities and overseas study agencies. The DTU booth was visited by parents and students wanting to obtain further information. The annual festival is organized by Danang high schools, with booths to help students obtain vital information on university and college admissions at an important time of their lives.

This year, several special student research projects were of interest to visitors to the DTU booth. Products included a robot that guides people across the street, a warning system for vehicles stopping after a stop sign and a free condom dispenser. The booth also provided parents and high school students with a clearer understanding of the DTU enrollment process and schedule.

University staff enthusiastically counseled parents and students and answered questions and concerns about the selection of appropriate majors, DTU incentive policies, scholarship programs, opportunities for studying overseas and career opportunities on graduation. This information helps students to prepare for the National High Graduation Exam more confidently and well-informed choices.
