The DTU Cheerdance team overwhelmed other strong teams in the Central region to enter the national finals of VUG - UNIGAME 2015, in December in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Central Region Round of VUG - UNIGAME 2015 took place at Da Nang City's Military Zone 5 Stadium on October 17th and 18 with the participation of five Cheerdance teams of DTU, Danang Technical University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Danang University of Economics, Danang University of Architecture and Duc Tri College.
VUG - UNIGAME was initiated by the Vietnamese Student Association and the Ministry of Education and Training, to promote student sporting activities. Participating students will be granted a Health Certificate and be able to demonstrate their sporting talents.

DTU Cheerdance comes first in the Regional Round of VUG - UNIGAME 2015
Founded in early 2011, the DTU Cheerleading team has added to the enjoyment of many DTU sports events. Although cheerleading has only recently become popular in Vietnam, all members of the DTU Cheerdance team have enthusiastically dedicated themselves to improving their performance. Mr. Pham Trung Tuyen, Director of the DTU Sports and Music Center, said: “The VUG - UNIGAME is a useful arena for the team to impress the judges and the audience with amazing performances. They will have to work even harder at the finals in December”.
