The 2015 National Mathematics and Physics Olympiad was held in late April and DTU students won four third prizes and four consolation prizes.
The 23rd National Mathematics Olympiad took place from April 13th to 18th at Hue University. There were 672 competitors from 88 universities and colleges nationwide in Analytic and Algebra. DTU gained good results, including one 3rd prize for Dang Dinh Nhan and two consolation prizes for Nguyen Tat Triet and Tran Cong Duy Bao.

The 18th National Physics Olympiad was hosted by the Telecommunications University from April 23rd to 26th in Nha Trang and attracted 284 students from 43 universities and colleges nationwide. The DTU Physics team won a third delegation prize. Three 3rd prizes went to Le Hoang Long, Vo Hung Vu and Phan Thi Hong Lan and Dinh Thi Dai Cat and Nguyen Thi Lai won two consolation prizes.

Dang Dinh Nhan of DTU K19TPM4, who won third prize in the National Mathematics Olympiad 2015, said: “We received a lot of support and encouragement from our lecturers. We tried very hard to win good prizes and I was very impressed by the enthusiasm and determination of all competitors. The prizes brought happiness to us and honor to the university and were motivated to keep our passion for Mathematics”.
DTU was honored to be chosen to host the 2016 National Physics Olympiad. With their enthusiasm, aspirations and determination, students of DTU and universities nationwide will try to work even harder to make the most of the Olympic spirit and demonstrate their talents on the road to greater knowledge.
