On December 3rd, Duy Tan University signed a partnership agreement for Degree programs with Upper Iowa University in the USA.

This is the first time that DTU has partnered with Upper Iowa University (UIU) to offer Bachelor degree courses at DTU and the American-accredited degrees will be conferred by UIU. All subjects will be taught in English. Seventy percent of the courses will be taught by lecturers from UIU and the remaining thirty percent by English-speaking visiting lecturers at DTU.
The collaborative agreement includes seven disciplines. They are Business Administration, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, Graphic Design and Communications. DTU will grant several scholarships to students from Danang, Quang Nam and neighboring provinces who enroll in the first courses.
UIU was established in 1857 where UIU has its residential campus with over 1,000 students located in Fayette, IA. UIU also has nineteen educational locations in seven states (Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arizona) with approximately 2,500 students. In addition, there are another 2,500 students worldwide studying online and through self-paced programs from around the world, including students in Hong Kong and Malaysia, making a total of approximately 7,000 UIU students around the world. DTU is the first UIU affiliate in Vietnam.
