On September 21st, DTU organized a seminar to explain how Vietnamese students can establish their own e-Commerce businesses. It was held in collaboration with the Mat Bao Company (MBC) and the Vietnam E-Commerce Association (Vecom), so that DTU students could prepare themselves better for future careers.

At the event, MBC and Vecom management talked about e-Commerce and job-related issues, selling products and services on the Internet. The development of e-Commerce has undergone rapid growth in Vietnam and worldwide and created exciting new business opportunities, especially for young, talented professionals.
Understanding more about the international development of e-Commerce, the various kinds of business websites, social networks and the efficiency and the security of e-Commerce will broaden the minds of students and inspire them to become involved in future e-Commerce ventures.

DTU students were able to learn about recruitment and the basic requirements of prospective employers, including CV preparation and interview techniques. Ms. Tran Phuong Linh said:
“You need to clearly define your job requirements and objectives. To make your dreams come true, you will have to face many difficult challenges and obstacles. If you persevere, you will surely succeed, sooner or later.”
