On May 18th, the DTU Faculty of Humanities and Social Science held a musical performance entitled “Vietnam is a Big Country” to commemorate the 39th anniversary of the liberation of the South to unite the whole country, the 124th birthday of Uncle Ho, the 20th anniversary of DTU’s founding, to demonstrate the love of our nation and our islands.

Dr. Tran Xuan Hiep, Dean of the DTU Faculty of Humanities and Social Science said: “
Over many years that Uncle Ho struggled for the liberation of Vietnam and our Vietnamese’s liberation and happiness, we defeated many big enemies. Nowadays, Vietnamese have tried to follow the example of Uncle Ho to build a better society. DTU lecturers and students have promised to work hard to develop and defend Vietnam.”

At the performance, the DTU Faculty of Humanities and Social Science awarded certificates of merit to the ten most outstanding members of the faculty. Expressing the love for Uncle Ho, students sang about Uncle Ho and our nation, including songs such “Nhung bong hoa trong vuon Bac”, “Bai ca thong nhat“, “Que huong Toi”, “To quoc goi ten minh” and “Noi dao xa” to express their love of our country and its islands.
