After ten days of keen competition, the first Medicine and Pharmacology Faculty Sports Event ended on February 27th at South Hoa Khanh, in the Lien Chieu district of Danang. Twenty-two male football teams and thirteeen female volleyball teams participated.
The spectators eagerly welcomed the last two football matches, including one for the Championship between the K19 YDH4 and K18 YDH3 teams, and another, for Third Place, between the K19 YDH8 and K19 YDD teams. The match for third place heated up in the first few minutes, when K19 YDD started scoring goals. Although the K19 YDH8 team played well, they knew their opponents were stronger and, with a score of 3-1, the K19 YDD came in third.

The two teams participating in the finals fought a dramatic battle for the championship. The K19 YDH4 team overcame their competitors 2-1 to win the first Medicine and Pharmacology Faculty Football Cup.

The first Medicine and Pharmacology Faculty Sports Event ended with great fun and fond memories. The organizers awarded eight team prizes and three individual prizes to the best teams, including first prize to the K18YDD female volleyball team. The sports event was highly successful and gave faculty and students the opportunity to improve their fitness, sporting spirit and teamwork at the same time.
