On June 30, DTU’s Labor Party collaborated with the Youth Union to hold the “DTU Celebration Day” for the entire faculty and staff.

DTU faculty and staff competed in the four sections, Musical Performance, Fashion, Cooking and Slow Bicycle Riding. They all seemed eager to demonstrate their talents in singing, playing musical instruments or modeling their departmental uniforms. Impressive performances delighted the cheering audience.
The Slow Bicycle Riding was equally enthralling. The four best cyclists moved into the finals. Now the requirement of carrying another person made it more difficult to balance. The faculty members tried hard to overcome this.

In the Cooking section, teams were allowed to choose chicken, pork, fish or beef to cook in four dishes. The judges gave grades to each team, depending on flavors and decoration. All participants concentrated on preparing and cooking the food as the best they could, hoping to win.
At the end there was small workshop on healthcare for mothers and children. This was an opportunity for faculty and staff to get together and relax after a hard working year.
