An Opening Ceremony to introduce the new DTU Second Undergraduate Degree program was held on 16th October, 2011. Attendees included Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice Rector, Dr. Ho Van Nhan, DTU E-Learning Center Manager, lecturers from the DTU Business Administration, Accounting and Tourism Departments, and B17 students of 2011-2013.

In his speech, Dr. Ho Van Nhan said: “Congratulations on becoming students at DTU. The Second Undergraduate program is for students and others who already have their first degree. This is why classes are held in the evenings for your convenience. We wish you luck and success in your studies”.

Questions about the credit-based system, study methods and tuition fees were also discussed at the ceremony. For the 2011-2013 academic years, the DTU E-learning Center enrolled 816 students from Accounting, Financing, Banking, Business Administration and Tourism. The Second Undergraduate Degree courses are for 3rd year students or those who already have a bachelor degree. These second degrees are just as valuable as first undergraduate degrees.
