From 16-17th April, 2011, the DTU Students’ Affairs Department and the Youth Union collaborated to organize a camping expedition at DTU’s fifth campus in Hoa Khanh.
10,000 students from 146 teams went camping. Various types of activities, such as games, dancing, musical performances and a beauty contest kept the students busy. They were able to relax after hard studying and strengthen their friendships with each other.
The camping trip attracted thousands of DTU students
Mr. Pham Dang Quang, Secretary of the DTU Youth Union, spoke at the opening ceremony: “This is our biggest camping expedition ever, with over 10,000 students participating in numerous exciting activities. The success of the camping trip shows the power and determination the younger generation in this new era”.
This event commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Youth Union. The camping trip was a great opportunity for all to demonstrate their good-will, solidarity and love of country.
