On November 11th, 2010, Duy Tan University has signed an agreement with Lorain County Community College in Ohio to pave the way for Vietnamese students who are interested in study-abroad opportunities. Under this agreement, through the recommendation of Duy Tan University, high school graduates in Vietnam will get accepted directly into Lorain County Community College. High school graduates may also study for a year at Duy Tan University before transferring to Lorain County Community College in order to save cost.

Compared to other community colleges in the United States, Lorain County Community College possesses a University Partnership program which offers degree programs from all the best known universities in Ohio. That means, after completing the program of Lorain County Community College, students will be able to continue their study right at Lorain County Community College to earn the Bachelor's degree from some top universities in Ohio such as Ohio State University, Ohio University, Kent State University, Cleveland State University, Green Bowl State University, Youngstown State University, Asland University, the University of Toledo and the University of Arkon. There is a wide range of specialties to choose from, including Business Administration, Biology, Computer Science, Environmental Engineering, Health sciences as well as other engineering disciplines and social sciences. The benefit from this approach is the total fees and cost of living will be lower. In addition, the procedure of acceptance into top universities in Ohio through Lorain County Community College will not be as difficult as making direct application at those schools. Students who want to fully transfer to those top universities in Ohio can also do so after getting accepted into the University Partnership program of Lorain County Community College.
