On December 5th, 2010, the FDTU (Forum of Duy Tan University) Management Board organized a gala for the members at the ROMA Classic coffee shop in the Thanh Khe District of Danang. Attending at the gala were DTU lecturers and many enthusiastic FDTU members.
A gala hip-hop dance
The gala opened with guitar performances by two special guests, Duy Khanh and Phuoc Tri (members of an acoustic guitar band) who have supported DTU in special events off-campus for many years. The gala was a great success, full of interesting games, joyful songs and hip-hop dancing, all performed by FDTU members. Towards the end of the event, a solo guitar performance by Bao Quan, a student Thanh Khe high school student, was a surprise for everyone. Quan said: “Even though I’m a high school student, I have been a member of FDTU for a long time and really enjoy the forum. The members are very friendly and are helping me to prepare for my entrance to university next year”.

The FDTU forum was established at the end of 2009 and has attracted more than 15,000 members. It is a place for students to make friends and exchange information. Many off-campus activities, including musical performances, mini tours, charity drives and other voluntary programs are organized frequently for the all DTU students. These activities have made FDTU an exciting new meeting-place for DTU students.
