New Success for the DTU Informatics Olympiad Team

On November 26th 2010, the 19th National Informatics Olympiad (OLP) of 2010 and the 35th International Programming Contest ACM/ICPC in Asia was completed. The DTU Olympiad team achievements were significant:

Ta Ba Thanh Huy and Mai Van Minh won 3rd prize. Dang Huy Hoa, Mac Van Anh and Le Quoc Huy each won consolation prizes. These achievements showed a continuing improvement in the success of the DTU Olympiad team.

19th National Informatics Olympiad

This year, the OLP took place from 24th to 26th of November 2010, with 160 Vietnamese and foreign teachers sending students to the contest. 391 students took part in the individual OLP while 116 teams and 348 students competed in the ACM/ICPC.

2010 was a successful year for DTU. Earlier this year, DTU won prizes in other competitions, ending up as one of the top four Robocon teams in the U - League Championships of Central Vietnam, and with Dang Xuan Nam winning the Loa Thanh Prize. These successes demonstrated the remarkable contributions of the entire DTU staff and students in the development of DTU over the past 16 years.
