2026 Student Scientific Research Conference at the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
On May 9, 2026, the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (SCA) at Duy Tan University successfully organized the Student Scientific Research Conference with the participation of numerous students passionate about technology research. The conference not only provided students with an opportunity to present their innovative ideas, but also contributed to strongly promoting the spirit of scientific research throughout the school.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Gia Nhu, Rector of the School of Computer Science
and Artificial Intelligence (SCA) at Duy Tan University, delivers the opening remarks
This year, the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (SCA) received 32 research submissions, of which 23 projects were officially selected for presentation. The topics covered a wide range of cutting-edge technology fields, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, XR/VR, Multi-Agent Systems, Anomaly Detection, DeFi, AI Agents, Computer Vision, and Cybersecurity.

SCA students confidently present their technology research projects
The participating projects were not only diverse in topics but also remarkable for their strong practical applicability. Notable projects included: “Applying XR, AI, and Multiplayer Technologies in the Design of the DAWNFALL Game”, “Building a Travel Chatbot Agent with n8n”, “Developing an AI Model for Detecting Depression Risks Based on Social Media Usage Behavior” , “A Spatial Reasoning Agent for Warehouse Planning Problems” , “Research and Development of an AI-Based Online Exam Proctoring System for Cheating Detection”. Many of the studies demonstrated SCA students’ ability to quickly adapt to emerging technology trends while aiming for practical applications in daily life, education, transportation, tourism, finance, and community mental healthcare.

The Organizing Committee noted significant improvements in this year’s projects,
both in research depth and product development mindset
While many projects in previous years tended to focus more on theory, this year students paid greater attention to real-world applicability, user experience, and practical feasibility. In particular, SCA students’ proactive approach to exploring new technologies reflected their strong spirit of continuous learning and keeping up with global technology trends.

The conference also served as an opportunity for SCA students to promote
the spirit of creativity, research, and technological innovation
At the conclusion of the conference, the Organizing Committee presented awards to the most outstanding projects:
- A First prize: “AI Application to Support the Visually Impaired”
- Two Second prizes: “Research and Development of an AI-Based Online Exam Proctoring System for Cheating Detection” and “Developing a Multi-Agent System to Support Preparation for the National High School Graduation Examination in Mathematics”
- Three Third prizes: “Applying XR, AI, and Multiplayer Technologies in the Design of the DAWNFALL Game”, “Developing an AI Model for Detecting Depression Risks Based on Social Media Usage Behavior” and “A Spatial Reasoning Agent for Warehouse Planning Problems”.
