School of Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences Student Scientific Research Conference 2026

On May 15, 2026, the School of Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences (LHSS) at Duy Tan University organized the 2026 Student Scientific Research Conference, attracting the participation of numerous faculty members and students from the School’s academic departments.

 

LHSS students confidently present their research projects before the evaluation panels

 

This year’s conference featured 15 research projects presented before two expert panels. The studies were highly appreciated for their academic quality, practical applicability, and the creativity demonstrated by students in addressing contemporary social issues. The research topics spanned a wide range of fields, including law, educational technology, applied linguistics, and social sciences.

 

Beyond demonstrating their commitment to rigorous research, the student teams also showcased innovative thinking and the ability to apply technology and disciplinary knowledge to propose solutions relevant to current real-world challenges. The conference also served as a meaningful academic platform for students to exchange research experiences and further develop their presentation and scholarly discussion skills.

Following an objective and rigorous evaluation process, the Organizing Committee selected five outstanding projects to advance to the Duy Tan University Student Scientific Research Conference:

 

-    Digital Law: Transactions Involving Crypto Assets in Vietnam: Current situation and Recommendations for Improving the Legal framework (Faculty of Law)

-    Technology and Humanities Interdisciplinary Studies: Analyzing the Transformation of Character Representation in Selected modern Vietnamese literary works through AI-based Reinterpretation (Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities)

-    Procedural Law: The Defendant’s Right to file a Counterclaim in Civil proceedings (Faculty of Law)

-    Educational Technology (EdTech): Applying Digital storytelling to enhance Interest and Listening-Speaking skills among Preschool children (Faculty of English)

-    Applied Linguistics: Applying the AIDOUBAO Assistant to improve Chinese Oral Communication skills among DTU students (Faculty of Chinese Language)

 

The 2026 School of Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences Student Scientific Research Conference created a vibrant academic environment that fostered students’ enthusiasm for research and innovation. Through highly practical research projects, students of the School once again demonstrated their academic competence, innovative thinking, and ability to connect disciplinary knowledge with real-world applications.
