VICAT Global provides educational support and overseas study consultancy. Its main mission is to facilitate access to the high-quality Nursing education in Germany for Vietnamese students and to contribute to meeting the demand for professional nursing manpower at German healthcare facilities.

On November 23, 2022, VICAT Global and DTU signed a memorandum of cooperation on German overseas study scholarships for Nursing students. Under the agreement, the two partners would work together to provide information to DTU students of Nursing about the German overseas study market and about the GAVIC project “Nursing degree conversion in Germany”, and jointly organize overseas study consultation and orientation seminars for DTU students of Nursing.

“Every time we visit DTU, we are greatly touched by the warm and enthusiastic welcome and the very professional work style of the staff, lecturers, and other employees here,” VICAT Global CEO Ms Nguyen Thi Huong said at the meeting.

“Since we’ve been working with DTU, five students of the university have joined the GAVIC project, out of which three made it to Germany and completed the Nursing degree conversion program in Germany. In previous seminars, the students of the university could also interact with students living and working in Germany. And today, we’re here to continue giving DTU students of Nursing a better understanding of the GAVIC project, that they can grasp the opportunities to experience the German living environment and advanced educational and healthcare systems, and improve their knowledge and professional skills.”

The meeting allowed students of the DTU Faculty of Nursing to personally meet and discuss with VICAT representatives. This gave them a chance to learn about the GAVIC project and the opportunities it brings. Specifically: DTU graduates of Nursing participating in the project study a Nursing degree conversion program from six to ten months in Germany. They enjoy full funding to go to Germany to study and work, including: expenses for learning German, filing the application, visa interviews, and airfare from Vietnam to Germany, and they are not expected to pay any other fees at all. During their studies in Germany, they receive a salary of 2,300 EUR for a 40-hour workweek and after completion they receive a salary from 2,700 to 3,500 EUR per month.

As part of the meeting, representatives of VICAT gave advice to the DTU students of Nursing and answered their many questions. Questions about the company’s perks, conditions, and policies for students were answered clearly and in detail. This gave the students a comprehensive view of studying and working in Germany through the GAVIC project.

The meeting marked an important step forward in the relationship between DTU and VICAT. The cooperation brings students of the Faculty of Nursing attractive opportunities for study and work in Germany while improving the quality of nursing manpower and of global medical care.
