A University in Danang Inaugurates a Cyber Security Laboratory

On December 11, DTU held a ceremony to commemorate the opening of the Cyber Security Laboratory, aimed at improving the standard of education and research in the field of Cyber.

On August 27, the Suganuma Company and the FORE Company from Japan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate in Cyber Security education and research with DTU. They jointly agreed to develop programs to facilitate the exchange of information, skills and experience between lecturers and students. Experience at the lab also opens up job opportunities at Japanese companies, especially in the Black Rock ‘Cyber Security - Safety Talent Incubator’ program, which aims to graduate more local information safety professionals. Initially, the cyber security lab was established, equipped with twenty high-configuration laptops, specialized software, a dedicated server, and various other network devices.

The Cyber Security Lab will enable access to the latest equipment and technology, applied in a real-world training environment, with Japanese experts directly teaching the latest cyber security topics. The sponsors also awarded scholarships totaling $299,000 to students who demonstrated outstanding achievements while participating in the program.
