Eighteen DTU Lecturers Attend the "Train the Trainer" Course at Carnegie Mellon University

Since 2008, DTU has collaborated with Carnegie Mellon University, one of the leading IT universities in the US, to offer advanced international programs in Software Engineering, Information Systems and Network Security.
 
As part of the collaboration agreement between the two universities, eighteen DTU lecturers were selected to participate in the "Train the Trainer" course at Carnegie Mellon University in the US from June 24 to July 24.

CMU Professors
 
The “Train the Trainer” course provided DTU lecturers with advanced knowledge and skills in Information Technology. Topics included Data Structure Engineering, Data Analysis with Python, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, taught by Professors from the CMU School of Computer Science and Software Research Institute.

DTU lecturers present their Machine Learning Project
 
With 95% of DTU students finding employment immediately upon, DTU’s IT education programs have received international-level American ABET accreditation in:
 
- Software Engineering, in August 2021
- Network Engineering and Management Information Systems, in August 2019
 
DTU partners with fifty universities worldwide, is a member of several important international organizations and has established relationships with many global companies operating in Vietnam. The close relationship with Carnegie Mellon University plays a vital role in improving the quality of IT education at DTU. 
 
By sharing advanced international programs with Carnegie Mellon University, DTU students are taught using project-based learning methods and “Learning By Doing”, which has marked a major turning point in the training of high-quality human resources at DTU, while complying with international standards.
